I can't find a recipe anywhere for using sirloin steak in place of traditional braising / stew beef?! Is this because it is not really a good idea or just because it is more expensive than some cuts? Ideally I want to make a sirloin and potato (with carrots onions etc) pie with a shortcrust top... I have made a minted lamb one similar recently and it was lovely! Please help! Thanks! ;o)
