Problems with futuristic interpretation.?
Every minute I am growing more and more fond of the idea that Jesus' entire Gospel revolves around the judgment of Israel that concludes in AD 70, rather than the idea that the Gospel speaks of universal judgment and salvation that has yet to be fulfilled. It seems to me that the presence (parousia) of Christ has already happened and we now live in a new aion ruled by Christ (i.e. Luk 18:30), in contrast to the previous wicked aion (Gal 1:4). This, however, does not exclude the obvious fact that with the establishment of a new aion comes also a new covenant that includes both Jews and Gentiles alike, and the idea that a second resurrection is still future.
