WHATS THE ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA EXPERIENCE?

i am a very interested prospective member of alpha kappa alpha, ill be attending alabama state university fall 2010 and im curious to know how they are, as far as personalities. ive always wanted to be apart of a sisterhood and im all about leadership and ambition and to know the akas can help in furthering my career goals which is great. so im not interested in the just the status but all of what the akas stand for. i love the great community service they do, the top notch ceos in this sorority is aspiring, and the feeling of having life long friends is amazing. thats what i want! :) and I LOVE PINK AND GREEN concidently. ive heard the stereotypes about akas, which is kinda undesirable but at the same time it reminds me of myself lol, i been called saditty and stuck up and personally dont think its a bad thing to be proper and cly :) all and all, I want to know how hard is it to join the akas, specifically at asu? cause i heard the south is all about greek life and well im from chi town lol. so im curious how this city girl gonna fit in, in the south. Also, What are members experiences being an aka?
